The project concerns the renovation of a 1950s residential building, with targeted interventions aimed at improving living quality and efficiency while preserving the original proportions and architectural identity. The most significant aspect of the intervention is the new layout of the interior spaces: through a few precise demolitions, all corridors and circulation areas have been eliminated, allowing the full surface of the apartment to be used. At the heart of the house is now a large central living room, conceived as the main public and social space, onto which both the more private and intimate rooms (bedrooms, study) and the functional areas (kitchen and bathrooms) open. The project is completed with the reconstruction of the roof in larch wood, the rationalization of façade openings, and the exterior repainting in a warm white tone, in continuity with the sober aesthetic of the original building.
